Reading Club - October 2nd
The October play-reading is “An Enexpected Guest” by Agatha Christie. It’s on Thursday evening, 2 October at 7:00 o’clock – in the Studio Theatre of the Confederation Centre. A special treat this time: Librarian and story teller Barb Kissick will give a brief talk about the author before the reading.
These play readings are fun, because there’s no preparation – we just go round the circle, taking turns at reading the assorted parts. And it’s a nice no-pressure social time. Cheap, too: free for ACT members; non-members chip in a $toonie to defray copying costs. If you want to give it a try, contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or by email by clicking the ‘monique’ link below.

ACT Reading Club
Sometimes the best thing about community theatre
is reading about it!

Members get together to ‘read’ a play or a ‘musical’. The purpose differs from member to member. Some use the opportunity to practice using their voice. Others use it to experience a show that is unlikely to play locally.
The Selection Committee attempts to provide members with a cross-section of familiar, unfamiliar and new works. Suggestions are welcome.
