We’re Glad This Cast Member Finally “Drummed” Up The Nerve To Audition!

Albert Kays

Albert is a native of Charlottetown, and has spent his whole life listening to and playing rock music.  He spends most weekends playing with a local rock group called “Tongue and Groove.”  A drummer by trade, Albert “Forest Gumped” his way into Jesus Christ Superstar.

Find out why Albert was a little worried about auditioning for JCS by clicking on “more”.

Albert’s only theatre background prior to this play was drumming with the orchestra in a high school production.

“I was a little apprehensive about auditioning for this play because I have had no acting experience whatsoever,” Albert admits, “But the music for JCSS is so great and I needed a musical uplift.  With some coaxing from my wife I decided to give it a try and I’m very glad that I did.”

When asked what how he feels about his involvement to date Albert adds, “I would like people to walk away from this production having felt they were thoroughly entertained by such an amazing and dedicated group of individuals who all share a love of music and theatre….. that’s what it’s all about!”
