Positions Available at Live Bait Theatre in Sackville, NB

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR / PRODUCTION MANAGER

This person is in charge of making sure that our shows come together Technically and on budget. They must know about set building, lights, sound, video and be able to handle visiting productions as well as our own shows. It is an eight - nine week contract.  It’s a huge responsibility and a huge amount of work. The only thing that isn’t huge is the pay. But it can be terribly rewarding and a great experience. We love doing theatre and want to work with someone who feels the same way. This contract begins June 13.

OFFICE MANAGER / ADMINISTRATOR

This person will work in our office doing everything from sending out public service announcements and taking reservations to preparing grant applications. Essentially they will work with me to run the office on a day to day basis. This is at least a six month position but will hopefully turn into a year round full time job. Initially this person will be working on a government grant so in order to be eligible they must currently be receiving Employment Insurance.

DINNER THEATRE PERFORMER / DRUMMER

We need one more actor for our upcoming summer dinner theatre, Desperate Maritime Housewives.  This is a five week contract, running July 12 - August 13. We really need a drummer for the show. But that’s not all, we want someone who can not only drum but also sing, act, improvise and wait on tables. Oh, and it would be best if you were female. And you must be non-Equity. This is a tall order. Now, if you fit all the categories, but you’re a male, we could talk. Boys can wear dresses.

And if we can find all of those people we’ll be all set for the summer.  Thanks so much for considering this. Have a great day!

Take care,

Charlie Rhindress
