ACT Board Meeting: January 4

The next ACT Board Meeting will take place at the newly purchased warehouse on Sunday January 4, 4-6.

ACT’s esteemed President is giving herself an email vacation, and so has asked me to hand down her decision re the next meeting time. It will be

SUNDAY, JANUARY 4, 4-6 PM, AT THE
NEWLY PURCHASED WAREHOUSE,
11 Beach Street

11 Beach Street is a cul de sac off Kensington Drive at the downtown end. It goes towards the harbour, close to the Joe Ghiz park).

Carl might not be able to make the complete meeting, but on balance this is a better, because more relaxed, time than the other possibility, just before the

THEATRE FORUM ON TUESDAY, JAN 6 AT 7:00 PM, UPEI

FACULTY LOUNGE.

This time will also give us a chance to “tour” the warehouse, and have some preliminary discussion on how best to use the space (some of which could also be offered to others). I am already beginning to move my ACT materials down there—it is clean, though a scrub down wouldn’t hurt—and I suggest others bring props, playbooks, spare posters (which can be displayed in the office), and other ACT-owned-or-related materials that they happen to have. That’s what the warehouse is for, after all.

Please bring a chair.

Also the President repeats her request that those with information that would have been conveyed at the cancelled December meeting (for example, about the Jesus Christ Superstar dates) relay it by return email, for distribution to all, to save time at this January meeting.

I myself have several things, which I will send in a separate message.
